DISCUSS issues, staffing, policies and procedures pertinent to the Emergency Department. OUTLINE the new policies and procedures for palliative care. DISCUSS safety issues and serious safety events. OUTLINE staffing shifts with updates in the hospitalist schedules, as well as nursing updates and advance practice provider updates. DISCUSS operations challenges with Bay Medical due to extensive housing issues (hurricane related) affecting both staff and patients. PROVIDE discharge procedures and holding options for the ED staff, as nursing homes are also limited in the Panama City/Bay Medical area.
