"Pediatric Delirium"
Speaker: Aubrey Utley, PharmD
Objectives: At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) IDENTIFY risk factors for pediatric delirium; 2) EVALUATE the evidence between benzodiazeprine use and pediatric delirium; 3) IDENTIFY the pharmacologic options available for pain and sedation in a mechanically ventilated pediatric patient. "Is External Evidence of Trauma Associated with Clinically Important Brain Injury or Retinal Hemorrhages in Infants 6 Months and Younger in Cases Without Confirmed Mechanism of Injury?" Speaker: Elyse Schrandt, MD Objectives: At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS background and significance of the research project; 2) DISCUSS results of the research project.
