SHH Pediatric Grand Rounds

Dr. Michael Tsifansky UF Pulmonologist presenting Objectives: At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) DISCUSS indications, contraindications, appropriate timing, and other common considerations for pediatric lung transplantation; 2) EXPLAIN the expected trajectory of lung transplantation in children, from referral to discharge and beyond; 3) RECOGNIZE the common manifestations of post-lung transplant complications; 4) DESCRIBE the common regimens for immunosuppression, infection prophylaxis, and treatment of rejection. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
