Filtering Out Fiction: Pediatric Acute Kidney Injury

Quianna Harris, PharmD, Pediatric Pharmacy resident presenting At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) DISCUSS the different etiologies of acute kidney injury; 2) IDENTIFY the diagnostic criteria, monitoring tools and parameters for acute kidney injury; 3) RECOGNIZE the differences between adults and pediatrics in acute kidney injury; 4) DETECT nephrotoxic drugs; 5) EXAMINE proper treatment options. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
