Objectives: At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS the prevalence of food allergy with particular attention to peanut allergy; 2) DISCUSS the possible causes of increasing prevalence of peanut allergy; 3) REVIEW recently released guidelines with attention paid to the LEAP study; 4) REVIEW the new guidelines recently published giving guidance on how to evaluate at risk patients with atopic dermatitis; 5) REVIEW the role of blood tests versus in vitro testing for peanut in patients with atopic dermatitis.
