Identify disaster-related risks (e.g., hurricanes, floods, wildfires) and develop individualized perinatal safety plans addressing evacuation and sheltering considerations
Apply interdisciplinary strategies to maintain continuity of maternal–infant care during disasters, including team coordination, access to medical records and medications, and infant feeding support
Demonstrate patient education strategies for disaster preparedness, including communication planning, emergency kit preparation, medication management, safe infant feeding, recognition of warning signs, and linkage to community resources
