Lightning Injuries in Pediatrics
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS the incidence, demographics and geography of lightning strikes in Florida; 2) DISCUSS the meteorological mechanisms of lightning production and risk factors of lightning injuries; 3) REVIEW recommended consensus treatment algorithm for victims of lightning strikes. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
