HPV Vaccinations
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DESCRIBE the epidemiology of HPV; 2) ILLUSTRATE the virological characteristics of HPV; 3) EXPLAIN the pathogenesis of HPV disease; 4) PRESENT common clinical manifestations of HPV; 5) REVIEW HPV vaccine topics: a. How it is manufactured, b. Vaccine schedule, c. Efficacy of vaccine, d. Safety Studies, e. Potential Adverse Reactions, f. Compliance with vaccine, g. Obstetrician’s role as vaccine champions. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
