Osteoporosis

At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) DESCRIBE and IDENTIFY the basic bone biology and physiology; 2) IDENTIFY risk factors associated with the development of osteoporosis and fractures; 3) DISCUSS modalities available to diagnose osteoporosis; 4) IDENTIFY components of individualized treatment plans for women with low bone mass, bot osteopenia and osteoporosis. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
