Pediatric Tumor Board

Tumor Board will serve as bi-monthly continuing education for the benefit of enhancing “evidenced-based” knowledge regarding the field of pediatric oncology. The presenters will be specialists in various areas that support a child with an oncologic diagnosis (pathology, radiology, neurosurgery, oncologists, surgery, research coordinators, etc.). The presentation will be specifically focused on “evidenced-based medicine.” Pediatric Tumor Board will enhance the providers and clinical staff knowledge regarding best practice, to improve patient outcome and overall performance satisfaction in addition to working in interdisciplinary teams. We will apply this quality improvement initiative to provide patient-centered care
