MUSM Internal Medicine Grand Rounds

This lecture will review the history of vaccines, how they work at an immunologic level, and their impact on public health. It will highlight key vaccine milestones, current vaccine platforms, and recent updates to the U.S. immunization schedule. The presentation will also address common vaccine concerns and misconceptions seen in clinical practice, using current evidence and guidance from the CDC, WHO, and AAP. The goal is to provide clinicians with practical, evidence based information to support effective vaccine counseling and improve patient outcomes.
