Writing Letters of Recommendation for Residency
Speaker: Michael J. Muszynski, MD, FAAP, Orlando Campus Dean, Associate Dean for Clinical Research At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DEFINE types of letters and their uses; 2) DESCRIBE the importance of a Letter of Recommendation and why and when you should write one; 3) LIST the steps in writing a Letter of Recommendation; 4) IDENTIFY useful attributes and common pitfalls in constructing a Letter of Recommendation. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
