At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) IDENTIFY the major social media sites and apps and DESCRIBE their medical uses and users; 2) IDENTIFY the current medical applications of social media in use by clinicians and patients; 3) IDENTIFY strategies to protect clinician’s professional reputation in a world where patients can review them online; 4) IDENTIFY guidelines and strategies to put use of social media into practice (or not). Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
