The Impact of Cultural Competence on Clinician and Patient Outcomes

At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) REALIZE cultural factors that influence how patients present for care; 2) ANALYZE how demographic, socioeconomic, and cultural factors can impact medical decision-making; 3) IDENTIFY opportunities to adapt personal and institutional behaviors to better serve diverse populations. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
