Dear Colleagues, In order to help all of you who have handheld devices for point of care medical resources, we are offering a session on “Loading Medical Apps on Handheld Devices.” At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) LOAD Medical Apps on Handheld Devices. Chip Orth, our Informatics Technology Specialist & I will be here to help you download the programs that you wish to use onto your handheld devices. We will have all of the instructions available & troubleshoot any problems that arise. There are 2 attachments to this email. The first, “So What Do You Need To Do, Jan 24?,” lists the various types of handheld devices and explains how you need to prepare before the session so that you will have fewer problems or delays. The second, “Mobile Resources Available to Faculty,” provides a list of all the electronic medical resources that we have available through the FSU College of Medicine Library to download to your handheld devices and device compatibility.
