Education Director Meeting with Pediatrics Clerkship Faculty
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS the Pediatric Clerkship Inpatient and Outpatient Competencies as it relates to outcome-based educational program objectives (LCME standard 6); 2) DISCUSS comparability of education and assessment across campuses. (LCME Standard 8); 3) DISCUSS student documentation in patient records in general and as it relates to new guidelines from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS); 4) DISCUSS opportunities to review student feedback and UTILIZE feedback for program review and revision (LCME standard 8); 5) DISCUSS adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and lifelong consequences of trauma, and challenging and/or interesting patient cases with colleagues.
