Florida’s POLST Paradigm-Pilot Project Progress

At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) RELATE the ethical principles on which advanced directives are based; 2) DESCRIBE different types of advanced directives; 3) CONTRACT the POLST paradigm with advanced directives; 4) EXPLAIN the POLST form to others; 5) IDENTIFY for whom POLST may be appropriate. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
