FCOM 2025: Resident Academic Bowl

Always a highlight of the meeting, the Academic Resident Bowl brings together teams from the University of Miami (last year’s champions), University of South Florida, University of Florida, and now for the first time Mayo Clinic Jacksonville for a spirited head-to-head competition. While residents showcase their knowledge of Otolaryngology in a fast-paced quiz format, all attendees benefit from the review of core concepts, cutting-edge topics, and the energy of friendly rivalry. This session is both educational and entertaining—an engaging way for providers at every level to test their knowledge and cheer on the next generation of ENT leaders. By the end of this session, participants will be able to: 1. Recall key otolaryngology knowledge areas through observation of competition-style questions. 2. Discuss current trends and clinical pearls highlighted during the event. 3. Recognize the value of academic competition in fostering collaboration, education, and leadership development among trainees.
