• Report the statistics of adolescent substance abuse
• Define DSM-V criteria for Substance Use Disorder
• Identify clinical situations where urine drug screening is recommended
• Introduce the Screening, Brief intervention and Referral for Treatment(SBIRT) tool
• Present Motivational Interviewing/Intervention
• Determine when to refer for specialized substance abuse treatment
