Intuition and Metacognition in Medical Education
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1)IDENTIFY the components of the metacognitive process; 2)STATE the advantages of identifying metacognitive processes as integral competencies in the medical school curriculum; 3) COMPARE learners who demonstrate metacognitive skills with those who do not; 4) DESCRIBE educational strategies to help learners acquire metacognitive skills.
Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
