Deep Impact: The Impact of Common Computerized Physician Order Entry Errors
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) ILLUSTRATE the vast impact that order entry errors make; 2) REVIEW the background and importance of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI); 3) DESCRIBE some of the local impact that occurred during order entry errors; 4) EXPLAIN the benefits of PowerPlans; 5) REITERATE the benefits that pharmacy can have on limiting these errors from reaching the patients. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
