Updates in Geriatric Medicine
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) PROVIDE an overview of timeline in performing FOBT exam or Colonoscopy in elderly patients; 2) IDENTIFY the risks associated with antipsychotic drugs in the geriatric population; 3) REVIEW high risk medications and the implications associated; 4) DISCUSS the common vaccinations that should be recommended to the geriatric population; 5) DISCUSS the update of new guidelines recommended in March 2017 regarding treatment of COPD. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
