Dr. Wilson, affectionately known as “Dr. Bob,” is a retired pediatrician. Dr. Bob currently serves as Pediatric Clerkship Co-Director for Florida State University College of Medicine’s Pensacola Campus. In his professional role, Dr. Bob coordinates the curriculum for medical students. Dr. Bob’s extensive career in community pediatrics, as well as his 42-year career in academic medicine, make him an asset in helping MECOP maintain compliance with the ACCME’s standards. Dr. Bob has been involved with MECOP for more than 15 years, and has served as MECOP’s Board and Curriculum Committee President, guiding each program’s direction and MECOP’s overall success since 2013.
