As a result of this learning activity, the surgeon should be able to: 1) DISCUSS the clinical indicators involved in an accurate surgical assessment; 2) VERBALIZE the key components in making a sound clinical judgment; 3) COMPARE/CONTRAST established surgical techniques/skills to be used in ensuring the best possible patient care outcomes.
