ACO, and Type 2 Diabetes
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DEFINE what an ACO is, Accountable Care Organization, and EXPLAIN who the beneficiaries are, etc; 2) ESTABLISH the basics of Type 2 Diabetes; 3) DESCRIBE some of the cause of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus; 4) OUTLINE the two main types of Glucose Transport Proteins; 5) ESTABLISH the causes of Type 2 Diabetes; 6) ILLUSTRATE how to diagnose Diabetes Mellitus; 7) LIST the problems our patients face with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus; 8) STATE the common codes used for Diabetes. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
