Physical Activity and Exercise: Recommendations for Children/Adolescents with Congenital Heart Disease

Objectives: At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DESCRIBE the current guidelines and recommendations regarding physical activity in exercise for patients with congenital heart disease; 2) STATE the importance of promoting and encouraging physical activity in children/adolescents with congenital heart disease; 3) VERBALIZE the necessity of reassuring parents of children with congenital heart disease who have anxiety surrounding the safety/danger of physical activity; 4) DESCRIBE the need to strictly adhere to recommendations in certain cases of congenital heart disease.
