SHH Pediatric Grand Rounds
Part 1-Ethics Primer and Part 2-CMS MMA Plan Update
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) INCREASE pediatric provider familiarity w/ fundamental concepts of ethics w/ a focus on health care ethics to include introduction of some basic terminology and models; 2) INTRODUCE attendees to the Ascension Health/Catholic Health Association program “Striving for Excellence in Ethics”; 3) EXPLAIN the purpose and process of obtaining an Ethics Consult at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital and at Sacred Heart in general; 4) PROVIDE insight into the anticipated upcoming transition of the CMS MMA Plan. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
