Review of the Audiological Test Battery for the APP

In medical clinics across the country, each audiology department has different testing available for referral. This session is a high-level overview of the most common tests that are offered in a general practice location. The speaker will provide a general overview of the auditory system, the most common audiological tests, common equipment, patient instructions & time of the procedure and a sampling of the results provided to the physician for review. Participants will be able to: 1. list common audiological tests, 2. describe the testing process including patient instructions and length of the assessment 3. identify common aspects of anatomy.
