Medical Grand Rounds

At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) DESCRIBE the problems surrounding misuse, abuse and diversion; 2) REVIEW brief history of narcotics laws; 3) EMPHASIZE aspects of the CSA 1970; 4) REITERATE the DEA postition on prescribing; 5) RECOGNIZE state law and medical board regulations may be more restrictive than federal law and regulations. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
