At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS the features of the FSUCOM curriculum and be able to explain the curriculum to others; 2) identify learning objectives for FSUCOM students specific to the required clerkship or elective rotation on which they teach; 3) CREATE ideas to increase effectiveness as a clinical teacher; 4) EXPLAIN the wave model, a teaching strategy designed to help make teaching in the ambulatory setting efficient; 5) DESCRIBE how to provide an orientation at the beginning of a clerkship to a new student; 6) EXPLAIN the ARCH model for giving feedback to the student. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
