At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) DISCUSS lack of student understanding of important screening tests such as the Newborn Metabolic Screen, cardiac screen,and hearing screen; 2) DISCUSS mid-block evaluation of student; is there a disconnect between how the preceptor and the student view this meeting?; 3) BE UPDATED on the Physician’s Assistant program; 4) DISCUSS the success of the Florida State University College of Medicine model as it pertains to students entering the field of Pediatrics; 5) DISCUSS challenging and/or interesting patient cases with colleagues. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
