FCOM 2025: Cutting-Edge Laryngology

Laryngology is a rapidly evolving subspecialty. Following innovations in optical evaluation of the larynx (flexible scopes, microscopes, distal tip cameras, optical coherence and stroboscopy) the ability to treat diseases and lesions of the larynx is developing to allow access not only in the OR, but also the clinic. This presentation will describe some of the recent innovations in laryngological patient care. These include new office injectables, office lasers, the use of THRIVE anesthesia, vaccinations, contemporary management of cough and incorporating AI into laryngological practice. Attendees will be able to: Present new innovations in laryngological patient care Discuss the shift of operative care to office-based procedures. Identify new paradigms for the treatment of chronic cough. Present the gradual integration of AI into laryngology.
