1. DESCRIBE the various levels of participation in Medicare and what those levels of participation mean for both patients and physicians. 2. DISCUSS the reasons for choosing to opt out of Medicare 3. OUTLINE the required procedures for opting out of Medicare with step by step instructions 4. DISCUSS the impact of opting out on physician practices and techniques for surviving opting out. 5. DESCRIBE how to become active on social media and to use it to promote access, privacy and the traditional doctor-patient relationship. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
