Improving Care at the End of Life
Speaker: Rex Northup, MD
Objectives: At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) INCREASE provider awareness of the need and opportunity to improve care of patients and families at the end of life; 2) DISCUSS several ways the provider can participate in the provision of this improved care; 3) APPLY the dialogue further on ways the health care team can collaborate with patients and families to improve the EOL experience for all parties involved. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
