Doctoring Preceptor Orientation
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) NAME and DEFINE the 6 competency domains that form the basis for the coming curriculum changes at FSUCOM; 2) DESCRIBE the process by which students learn clinical skills in the Clinical Learning Center and in the Simulation Center; 3) DESCRIBE the goals and objectives of the year 1 Doctoring preceptorship; 4) DESCRIBE strategies for optimizing the student learning experience; 5) SHARE teaching strategies appropriate for year 1 students. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
