Screening the Adolescent for Mental Health Disorders and Health Risk Behaviors
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS why you have to screen for mental health problems and health risk behaviors in adolescents; 2) ASSESS the current performance of primary care providers in screening; 3) DISCUSS how to screen; 4) DISCUSS what to do when a positive screen is found. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
