ECMS Meeting: Architecture for Health

Health is the zeitgeist. Understanding how the built environment influences human health and behavior is more important than ever. This approachable session for clinicians and architects will cover the architectural and applied research design processes, including how to set goals, apply research, and utilize evaluations for unique insights. Participants will learn about the architectural design process and that behavioral and health outcomes are inherent features. 2. Participants will examine the true meaning of health and how architecture can facilitate it in clinical and non-clinical spaces. 3. Participants will formulate a clear understanding of the value of interdisciplinary research and collaboration in architectural and interior design. 4.
