Florida Combined Otolaryngology Meeting 2024 – Current State of Airway Stenosis & Tracheotomy Care

This session will discuss current standard of care and advances in evaluation and treatment of airway stenosis in laryngology. This will cover idiopathic, traumatic and auto-immune subglottic stenosis, bilateral vocal fold paralysis and posterior glottic stenosis. The panel will also cover management of chronic tracheostomy patients and the pathway to decanulation. 1) Get up to date with the current evaluation of airway stenosis including PFTs, office bronchoscopies and high resolution laryngeal imaging 2) Get up to date with current standard of care management of airway stenosis including endoscopic and open surgical options as well as In-office Steroid Injections 3) Discuss the "chronic trach patient" and options for voicing, customized trach and stents and when to refer for decanulation
