Handling Challenging Teaching Situations
At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DESCRIBE types of difficulties learners might exhibit that would make the teaching of the student a challenge;
2) DESCRIBE how working with a patient can be similar to the process of working with a student to solve a problem the learner might have; 3) DESCRIBE specific strategies for helping the learner in difficulty; 4) DESCRIBE the “3 levels of prevention” model as it can be applied to challenging teaching/learning situations; 5) GAIN helping strategies from your peers.
