At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) DISCUSS creativity; 2) DISCUSS the components of a creative brain a) development of the brain, acquisition of skills and knowledge, b) innovation, c) production; 3)REVIEW some of the brain mechanisms that may be important in innovation; 4)DISCUSS the influence of neurological and psychiatric diseases on creativity. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
