Dr. Mary Lopez Peds Residency Presenting: Location: SHH Lecture Hall Objectives: DEFINE indications for evaluation of ADHD; DIAGNOSE ADHD using DSM criteria; DESCRIBE common co-existing conditions with ADHD; RECOGNIZE that ADHD is a chronic condition best managed in the context of medical home with development of a TEAM approach; APPLY evidence based treatments for ADHD; EMPLOY follow-up visits to adjust medication regimens based on side-effects and efficacy.
