Repoopulation: Pediatric Fecal Transplantation and the Gut Microbiome

At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS the gastrointestinal microbiome; 2) briefly REVIEW characteristics of Clostridium difficile; 3) DISCUSS the current recommendations for C. Difficile; 4) DEFINE fecal microbiota transplant; 5) REVIEW proposed protocols for FMT in the context of C. Difficile infections; 6) briefly DISCUSS the possible role of FMT in the future treatments of other diseases. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
