1) REVIEW the incidence of sudden cardiac death in young athletes; 2) REVIEW causes of sudden cardiac death in young athletes; 3) REVIEW pre-participation cardiovascular screening of SCD in young athletes and current controversies. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
