At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1)RECOGNIZE the infant or child at risk of cardiopulmonary arrest; 2)IMPLEMENT strategies to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children; 3)DEMONSTRATE and APPLY the cognitive and psychomotor skills necessary for resuscitation and stabilizing the infant or child in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
