At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:
1) DISCUSS the value of needs assessments and contextual considerations for capacity building, RECOGNIZE the need to create multidisciplinary teams for precision diagnostics and optimal patient care, ASSESS opportunities to establish excellence for ongoing and future cancer care initiatives; 2) DISCUSS major categories of primary brain tumors, EVALUATE patient for brain tumors, DISCUSS major management strategies for primary brain tumors (surgical and non-surgical); 3) DISCUSS training options for surgeons in developing countries; 4) DISCUSS screening and low-dose spiral CT, DETERMINE role of CT colonography (virtual coloscopy) as an alternative to optical colonoscopy in colon cancer screening, OUTLINE controversies in screening patients for breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
