Coding for OB/GYN

At the conclusion, the participant should be able to:

1) IDENTIFY routine services included in the OB global package; 2) IDENTIFY tips on capturing separately billable antepartum care; 3) IDENTIFY appropriate inpatient coding for pregnancy related encounters; 4) DISCUSS documentation suggestions for billing separate visits for interrupted pregnancies or office complications during pregnancy (specifically MFM when care is split; 5) DISCUSS diagnosis coding to support separate billing for visits and diagnostic studies during the global period. Questions and answers will allow for audience participation.
