2nd Annual Graduate Medical Education Symposium 2024

The Crucible of Leadership

The overall purpose of the symposium is to allow for participant development in the primary area of leadership. This will be accomplished through participant self-discovery, assessment, group interactions, and post symposium self-reflection. The varied topics allow for a longitudinal connection that culminates into a holistic approach to being a high-quality leader. Objectives: -Define the essential qualities of effective leaders in healthcare settings -Improve self-awareness, improve communication skills, learn and apply strategies to foster team collaboration, and analyze feedback to drive personal growth -Enhance Employee Replenishment Strategies: Attendees will leave with ways to replenish themselves and others to support employee well-being. -Making Goals Attainable: Attendees will leave with ways to make current systems and methods more doable by narrowing the scope. -Develop Strategies for Cultivating Trust: Attendees will leave with tools and techniques to build and sustain trust in the organization.
