SUMMARY:Method Aesthetics Academy: Level 1 Training
DESCRIPTION:Clinical Practice Gap\nAesthetic medicine practitioners may lack comprehensive knowledge of facial anatomy and the technical proficiency necessary to safely and effectively administer neurotoxins and dermal fillers. Gaps in anatomical understanding\, product selection\, injection techniques\, and appropriate placement can contribute to suboptimal aesthetic outcomes and increased risk of complications. Practitioners require additional training and hands-on experience to improve competency in administering neurotoxins to the glabella\, frontalis\, and crow’s feet\, as well as dermal fillers to the cheeks\, lips\, and nasolabial folds.\nEducational Need\nThere is a need for comprehensive\, hands-on education that strengthens practitioners’ understanding of facial anatomy\, neurotoxin and dermal filler applications\, and safe injection techniques. Through anatomical instruction\, expert demonstration\, and supervised practical training\, learners will develop the knowledge and procedural skills necessary to perform accurate product placement\, minimize complications\, and achieve safe\, effective\, and aesthetically balanced patient outcomes.\nACCME Gap Classification\nPrimary Gap: Competence — Practitioners need to improve their ability to apply anatomical knowledge and perform appropriate neurotoxin and dermal filler injection techniques. \nSecondary Gap: Performance — Practitioners need to translate acquired knowledge and technical skills into safe\, effective clinical practice. \nExpected Outcome: Improved practitioner competence in facial anatomy\, injection planning\, product placement\, and procedural techniques\, with the goal of enhancing patient safety and aesthetic outcomes. \nObjectives: Demonstrate competency in facial anatomy as it pertains to placement of neurotoxin and dermal filler. Demonstrate competence in neurotoxin and filler. Perform proper placement and injection of neurotoxin and filler for glabella\, frontalis and crow’s feet\, as well as cheeks\, lips and nasolabial folds.

SUMMARY:AIB The Value of Comprehensive Vestibular Testing
DESCRIPTION:Physicians and APPs evaluating patients with dizziness\, vertigo\, and imbalance may have difficulty distinguishing\nperipheral from central vestibular patterns and determining which tests add unique clinical value. \nCompetency and Performance Gaps:\nThis activity aims to: Improve understanding of common vestibular tests and the clinical patterns they reveal.\nStrengthen ability to interpret vestibular findings and recognize complementary versus overlapping test information.\nIncrease confidence in applying objective test results to diagnosis\, referral\, and management decisions. \nOverall Goal: Participants will improve their ability to identify clinically meaningful vestibular test patterns\, use results to guide differential diagnosis and management\, and select or interpret testing more efficiently to support accurate diagnosis\, targeted treatment\, and better patient outcomes. \nObjectives: Identify key patterns in vestibular testing that distinguish peripheral from central causes. Apply test results to clinical decision-making for dizziness management. Differentiate which vestibular tests provide complementary versus overlapping information to improve diagnostic efficiency.

SUMMARY:AIB Clinical Utility of Neurodiagnostic Vestibular Evaluation
DESCRIPTION:Healthcare providers evaluating patients with dizziness and balance disorders may lack comprehensive knowledge of vestibular dysfunction across the lifespan and the clinical utility of neurodiagnostic vestibular testing. Inconsistent assessment of equilibrium function\, limited familiarity with diagnostic testing modalities\, and challenges interpreting vestibular findings can contribute to delayed or inaccurate diagnoses\, inappropriate referrals\, and fragmented care. Additionally\, gaps in communication and coordination between diagnostic specialists and rehabilitation providers may limit the translation of diagnostic findings into individualized treatment plans\, potentially compromising patient outcomes and functional recovery. \nHealthcare providers need evidence-based education to improve their understanding of dizziness and balance disorders across pediatric\, adult\, and geriatric populations and strengthen their ability to assess equilibrium function and recognize indications for vestibular evaluation. Education should emphasize the clinical applications and interpretation of neurodiagnostic vestibular testing\, including its role in differentiating peripheral and central vestibular disorders. Additionally\, providers need strategies to integrate diagnostic findings into appropriate rehabilitation referrals and individualized treatment planning\, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration\, timely intervention\, and improved patient balance\, mobility\, and quality of life. \nFollowing participation\, learners should be better equipped to recognize vestibular disorders\, appropriately utilize neurodiagnostic vestibular evaluations\, interpret findings within their clinical scope\, and facilitate coordinated\, evidence-based rehabilitation strategies to improve patient outcomes.
