Course Description:
This one-day Maternal-Fetal Medicine Conference is designed to provide Ob/Gyn
and Family Practice physicians, as well as ARNPs, CNMs and nurses with an
overview of the protocols used to manage their obstetric referrals. The
conference will focus on the following high-risk management areas: Trauma in
Pregnancy, Magnesium Sulfate for PTL, Infections in Pregnancy, Venous
Thromboembolism, Ultrasound Anomalies, EFM, Obesity/Post-Gastric Bypass
Management in Pregnancy, Meds and Drugs in Pregnancy, First Trimester Screening,
and Preconceptional Counseling.
The importance to provide the latest technology and treatment updates for those
who have the first line of interaction with the patient and family is critical
in providing improved health outcomes for mother and baby.
